My Story
I am a Mackinac Island and Petoskey resident who is madly in love with the beauty of photography. As a child one of my fondest memories was the discovery of my grandmothers vintage photo album. Within these pages were the portraits of generations of family. I fell in love with the stories the images told. My great Aunt who was never photographed without her pearls. My grandfather who who defined debonair before I even knew the word. My passion for photography was soon to follow with the acquisition of my first black in white film camera. I love how I can captures life moments and forever secure them in the generational story of a family, just like my grandmother did for us.
Following college, my passion soon became my career. I have been blessed as a professional photographer to share my creativity, skills and joy with my clients since 2007. My husband and I live a charmed life on Mackinac Island in summer. This small Community has become our family. I am a proud wife of a Fireman, Teacher and Musician. You will find my husband and I traveling on our off season to all the great wonders of the world. In season my days are full of beautiful brides, families and children. I love all things vintage and incorporates a classic look within my portraits. I look forward to telling your story and creating your families Heirloom that will be passed on for generations to come.
